Can students take part in the conference?
Students and their participation at our conferences is vital, and as such we are keen to invite students to join us as delegates at our upcoming conference in Amsterdam between 6-8th October 2017.
You are welcome to attend as a delegate, or to apply to be a presenter within a strand. Please see below for further information on strand presentations.
If you have any questions about what being a delegate would mean for you as a student, please get in touch with our administrator via email: Vicki.firstname.lastname@example.org
I am a student, can I give a presentation?
At our conference, we have traditional 'conference' activities such as key note speakers and other plenary activities, however we also have something quite unique. We have 'strands' that are small groups of conference delegates who, over the course of the conference focus on specific areas of international education. Within these strands, delegates can give presentations (of up to 20 minutes) on an area of interest to them, this is then followed up with group discussion. People often present alone, or in small groups of 2 or 3.
We welcome applications (known as proposals) from students with an interest in International Education. A proposal should be a summary of your planned presentation, along with some key questions you would pose/plan to discuss.
If you would like to be considered to present, please submit a proposal through the website here: http://www.intedalliance.org/conferences/2017-internationalising-schools/call-for-proposals/
Where the website asks for your position within your organisation please indicate that you are a student.
After submission, a panel will consider your proposal and if successful you will be invited to present within a particular strand.
